Following the success of the junior program reinstated in 2022, well respected coach Nick Taylor, operator of Showtime Soccer School, has also come on board for season 2023 taking the role of Technical Director – Junior Program. As a long time White Eagles player and coach, Shackcloth was most recently Head Coach of the Championship 1 Men and led them to the 2021 title.
Shackcloth explained “To lead this great club is a privilege. Having spent the last 20 years of my life here, I have experienced the highs and lows and witnessed the club go through some challenging transitions in recent years. The success of the last two seasons has been years of hard work in the making and it is our goal to ensure that legacy is nurtured into 2023 and beyond. We measure our success internally on a number of key factors, and we will look to continue to “Be Better” and deliver that success once more. There are always challenges and this season will be no different. We hold ourselves to exceptionally high standards and with that comes the responsibility to ensure we represent the badge in line with our vision and philosophy. 2023 cannot come quick enough for our group and we are eager to get to work.”
Pre-season training will begin on Tuesday January 3rd 2023 from 6pm at Cornelian Bay.
